Did you know R.W. Warner has been in business and a supporter of the Frederick County community for 80 years? Take a peek at our philanthropic connection to the local organizations with whom we are privileged to be associated:
Community Foundation of Frederick County
In 1997, the Warner Memorial Endowment Fund was established in memory of Reese W. Warner, Sr., and Mary J. Warner. The fund supports a variety of charitable, educational, religious, and scientific causes.
R.W. Warner proudly lends our support as a Silver Trustee to the local Chamber of Commerce. Our efforts are to help connect business and community and create a thriving local economy through leadership, advocacy, and education.
Warner Service has been an active supporter of FMH for more than 15 years. We are recognized as an FMH Corporate Honor Roll partner, and Matt Warner, the current president and chief executive officer, has generously donated his time and resources during his time as a member of the Board of Directors.
R.W. Warner proudly worked with Hood College to create a “signature building not only on the Hood campus but for the entire city of Frederick.” The Hood College Athletic Center was the second upgrade to the educational institution’s athletic facilities after the turf field renovations.
Rotary International is known for its efforts to eradicate polio worldwide, and for more than 50 years, we have been active members through long-standing support in the local chapters, Rotary Club of Frederick and Rotary Club of Carroll Creek. Both clubs have funded hundreds of projects and volunteered numerous hours “to fulfill the highest ideals of Rotary: friendship, fellowship, and service above self.”
Warner Service was a sponsor in a successful golf tournament at PB Dye Golf Club in 2012. The tournament was run by SJCP’s Athletic Booster Club to help raise money for the school’s athletic programs, including baseball/softball, basketball, cheerleading, cross-country, football, golf, lacrosse, soccer, tennis, track and field, and volleyball.
R.W. Warner also joined The Legacy Campaign in The Keystone Society for its generous donations to St John’s. Personally, Matt Warner and his wife also donated to SJCP, earning them a spot in Saint John’s Platinum Club on the Honor Roll of Donors.
Matt Warner donates his time to the Trinity School’s Board of Directors.
We are also proud to have supported the following organizations:
- Banner School
- Boys and Girls Club of Frederick
- Boys Scouts of America
- WFMD’s Christmas Cash for Kids
- Delaplaine Visual Arts Education Center
- Frederick Alliance for Youth
- Friends of Catholic Education
